Get ready to giddy-up! Our Horseback Riding Program is open to 3rd–4th grade scholars who want to experience the thrill of riding, caring for, and connecting with horses. Over eight weeks, riders will learn balance, control, communication, and confidence—both in and out of the saddle! No experience needed — just bring your curiosity, courage, and a love for animals. Spots are limited, so don’t miss your chance to ride into adventure!
Classes will be off site at the Park District stables, scholars will be driven there and back on the Galapagos shuttle. Classes will run on Thursdays 4:15-5:30pm. Scholars will be arriving back to the Lower Academy at 5:45pm. After school snack will be provided.
