It's a true winter wonderland in this first ever program for Galapagos scholars. GRCS, in conjunction with it's partner Outward Bound, has put together a winter adventure in northern Minnesota. Scholars will learn to hike, camp and make campfires in the snow. Additionally scholars will learn to cross country ski and even dog sled. Along the way, scholars will develop leadership skills that will help them the next time they are at the North Pole or even when they are back in Rockford.
This trip is for 7th-8th scholars who applied and were accepted into the program. We leave Feb 4th and return February 9, 2025. Total cost for the program is $200.
